Mandarin Speaker_Finance and Accounting Manager Puchong

Key Responsibilities : 

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis (Strategic Focus) 

• Review, finalize, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, ensuring compliance with MFRS/IFRS. 
  
   
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, including Variance, Profitability, and Cost Analysis (especially COGS and manufacturing overheads). 
  
   
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, coordinating with department heads to set realistic and strategically aligned targets. 
  
   
• Provide proactive financial advice and recommendations on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and capital expenditure proposals. 
  
   

2. Accounting Operations & Supervision 

• Supervise, mentor, and manage the accounting executives and assistants   to ensure efficiency and professional growth. 
  
   
• Oversee all daily accounting functions (AR, AP, GL), ensuring timely reconciliation and workflow efficiency. 
  
   
• Maintain accurate documentation and cost records that meet internal quality standards specific to the manufacturing industry. 
  
   

3. Financial Control & Compliance 

• Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. 
  
   
• Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations (e.g., SST/Income Tax) and manage timely submission of statutory returns. 
  
   
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits and filings. 
  
   
• Manage and forecast company cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability. 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  
   
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, MIA, etc.) is highly preferred. 
  
   
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity. 
  
   
• Strong technical knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and proficiency in Excel and accounting software. 
  
   
• Experience in the Manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
