The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures a high-quality guest experience through excellent service, product knowledge, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standardized recipes.
Maintain knowledge of classic cocktails, signature drinks, wines, and spirits.
Engage with guests, take orders, and provide drink recommendations.
Set up and restock the bar before and during shifts.
Maintain cleanliness of bar counters, tools, glasses, and equipment.
Ensure the bar is organized, safe, and compliant with hygiene standards.
Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and feedback professionally.
Promote specials, new drink items, or upsell premium products.
Process payments accurately (cash, card, room charge, etc.).
Balance cash drawers and maintain transaction records.
Verify customer age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
Follow company policies and local regulations regarding alcohol handling.
Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior bartending or food & beverage experience is an advantage.
Strong mixology skills and product knowledge.
Excellent communication and customer service.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
Friendly, energetic, and professional.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Stand for long periods.
Lift up to 15–20 kg (e.g., beverage cases, kegs).
Frequent bending, reaching, and manual tasks.
