Kitchen Crew / Junior Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily gelato production (mixing, prepping ingredients, portioning).
• Prepare toppings, sauces, fruits, and other components according to SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash and sanitize tools, containers, and surfaces throughout the day.
• Operate basic kitchen equipment safely (mixers, blenders, freezers).
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FIFO, temperature checks).
• Assist with stock receiving, labeling, and organizing storage areas.
• Communicate production needs, shortages, and issues to supervisors.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including staff/customer toilet cleaning when assigned.

Basic Requirements

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to follow instructions, work fast, and maintain hygiene.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work weekends/public holidays and handle moderate lifting.
