Description
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and provide menu guidance and recommendations.
- Offer samples professionally and hygienically.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, or complaints politely and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere at all times.
2. Gelato Serving & Product Handling
- Scoop and serve gelato according to portion control standards.
- Prepare beverages, toppings, cones, and other menu items accurately.
- Ensure all product displays remain clean, attractive, and well-stocked.
- Follow all SOPs related to gelato texture checks, thawing, storage, and handling.
3. Cashiering & Transaction Handling
- Operate the POS system accurately.
- Handle payments, issue receipts, and manage float money responsibly.
- Reconcile end-of-day sales when required.
4. Store Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of washroom, counters, display areas, dining space, and work stations.
- Wash utensils, scoops, pans, and food-contact equipment according to hygiene SOP.
- Follow food safety guidelines (temperature logs, storage, sanitation).
- Ensure personal hygiene and proper uniform/grooming.
5. Back-of-House Support
- Assist with restocking supplies (cones, cups, napkins, ingredients).
- Perform opening & closing duties (checklists, cleaning, station setup).
- Assist in receiving deliveries and storing products properly.
- Support basic prep tasks as trained (e.g., weighing toppings, cutting fruits).
6. Operational Excellence
- Follow all operational SOPs consistently.
- Report equipment issues or low-stock items to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in training for customer service, SOP updates, and product knowledge.
- Help maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
