About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and responsible Cashier to join the YODmilk team in Taipan, Subang Jaya. This role is the heart of our customer experience — you’re the first person customers meet, the one who takes their orders, handles payments, and keeps the front counter running smoothly. If you enjoy talking to people, staying organised, and working in a lively breakfast environment, this position suits you well.
 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu questions.

  • Take orders accurately through our POS system.

  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude during busy hours.

  • Handle dine-in, takeaway, and pick-up orders smoothly.

Cash Handling & POS

  • Operate the POS system confidently.

  • Process cash, card, and e-wallet payments accurately.

  • Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of the shift.

  • Follow YODmilk’s SOPs for refunds, voids, or adjustments.

Front Counter Operations

  • Keep the cashier counter clean, neat, and presentable at all times.

  • Assist with packing bagels/drinks for takeaway.

  • Help coordinate orders between kitchen and barista teams.

  • Ensure customers receive the correct order.

Team Support

  • Work closely with baristas and kitchen crew during peak hours.

  • Communicate customer feedback to the team.

  • Follow shop rules, daily routines, and closing procedures.
     

  • Job Requirements

    Personality & Skills:

  • Friendly, polite, and comfortable speaking with customers.

  • Able to multitask and stay calm during busy times.

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Basic maths ability for cash handling.

Experience:

  • No experience required — training will be provided.

  • Experience in café, restaurant, retail, or customer service is an advantage.

Working Style

  • Punctual and reliable.

  • Able to work weekends and public holidays (shift-based).

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced Subang Jaya environment.
    Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for long hours.

  • Must be able to learn and use POS systems.

  • Ability to work well in a small team.
