Job Scope:
• Supervise and coordinate plastic welding operations on the production floor.
• Lead a team of welders to ensure high-quality output and timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure welding work meets precision engineering standards and technical specifications.
• Set up and monitor plastic welding machines and equipment.
• Work closely with the engineering and quality teams to resolve welding or production issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in plastic welding within a precision manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Proficient in plastic welding methods (e.g. hot plate, ultrasonic, extrusion, or butt welding).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and safety.
• Familiar with ISO or other manufacturing quality standards is an added advantage.
