What You'll Do

As a Chef at Yyashi Indian Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional Kerala dishes, ensuring each meal is crafted with care and precision. Your work will be guided by our philosophy: "Unave Marunthu - Food is Medicine."

Prepare and cook authentic Kerala dishes such as curries, appam, puttu, banana leaf meals, seafood, and traditional gravies.
Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Plan daily preparation and manage kitchen workflow.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Monitor stock and minimize food wastage.
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service.

What We’re Looking For

We are searching for a skilled and passionate individual with the following qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in Kerala or South Indian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Disciplined, responsible, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
