What You'll Do
As a Chef at Yyashi Indian Restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional Kerala dishes, ensuring each meal is crafted with care and precision. Your work will be guided by our philosophy: "Unave Marunthu - Food is Medicine."
- Prepare and cook authentic Kerala dishes such as curries, appam, puttu, banana leaf meals, seafood, and traditional gravies.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Plan daily preparation and manage kitchen workflow.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Monitor stock and minimize food wastage.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service.
What Weβre Looking For
We are searching for a skilled and passionate individual with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in Kerala or South Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Disciplined, responsible, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
