Support superior in cleaning equipment inventory.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Maintaining cleanliness of all back of the house areas including kitchens and walk- ins.
Ordering supplies appropriately to ensure proper par levels are maintained.
Wash, wipe, sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher.
Clean, sanitise and close workstations.
Uses and maintains all equipment's according to manufacturer and department guidelines.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chief steward, sous chef, or outlet manager.
Cleaning, buffering, hovering, sweeping, and washing floors, walls and ceilings to be carried out in accordance with company procedures and safe systems of work to the contract specified standard, and recorded in the cleaning schedules.
Ensure chemical store is kept clean and tidy.
Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
Ensure waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
Responsible to any ad hoc task from time to time by superior.
