Overall Purpose
To support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations by executing food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
1. Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare ingredients according to AFC SOPs and recipes.
- Cook assigned menu items with consistency and speed.
- Assist in daily mise en place and station setup.
2. Quality & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines strictly.
- Report any quality issues or equipment faults immediately.
3. Stock & Inventory Support
- Assist in stock counting and FIFO implementation. •
- Ensure sufficient supplies are prepared for service.
4. Teamwork & Support
- Support the Head Chef during peak periods.
- Train junior staff when assigned.
- Follow instructions and maintain discipline.
