Enterprise Architect

Position :  Enterprise Architect - Insurance Domain (General & Motor Insurance)  

Level :  Junior - Middle   

Working model :  Fulltime   

Location :  Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia   

We are seeking an experienced and certified Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in General Insurance and Motor Insurance. The responsibilities of this role include:   

Must-have:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as an Enterprise Architect supporting General Insurance and Motor Insurance programs.
• Strong understanding of insurance core systems, digital servicing channels, and industry regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with established enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA).
• TOGAF-certified or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (or equivalent cloud certification).
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions in complex, multi-system environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.  

Nice-to-have:   

• Knowledge of relevant insurance standards (e.g., BNM, ISM).
• Experience with coexistence or multi-phase modernization approaches involving both legacy and modern platforms.
• Familiarity with modern architecture paradigms: microservices, API-led integration, cloud-native design, and event-driven architectures.
• Prior experience leading legacy system modernization initiatives specifically within the insurance sector.
