Degree in English Communication, TESL, Degree in English Literature or any related English Degree or Master

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Developing and implementing new methods of teaching.
Designing, preparing and developing teaching materials (course outline, lesson plan, class journal & module for diploma & degree programme).
Delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials;
Prepare and regularly update teaching files assigned by PCO.
Assessing students' coursework;
Prepare and marking examinations questions;
Key in students result in AIS systems
Calculate student’s attendance percentage and finalize barred list students.
Invigilate examinations and practical training presentations
Supporting students through a pastoral/advisory role;
Supervising students' activities;
Undertaking continuous professional development and participating in staff training activities;
Undertaking administrative tasks related to the department, such as student admissions, induction programmes and involvement in committees and boards;
Representing the institution at professional conferences and seminars, and contributing to these as necessary;
Representative for students site visit in related industry.
Develop module for diploma programme (internal programme) and short courses programme (external programme- if any).
Assist the Deputy to arrange site visit, seminar and other training programme for diploma/degree students.
Any relevant task given from time to time by Principal or Deputy Principal.
