Production cum Warehouse Supervisor

OVERVIEW

• Responsible for supervising men, materials, process and equipment at internal/external DDAM as required in ensuring productivity is maintained within budget and accordance with planned schedule quality standard.
• Responsible for the issuance, storing/safekeeping and maintaining of inventory level of all direct and indirect materials used in production. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises work activities of personnel (Operators and Technician) in productions area.
• Directs operators to obtain maximum productivity and effectiveness from men, materials and equipment available to accomplish the basic goal in meeting production schedule and commitments.
• Ensures the performance of men and machines to produce products that conform to established specifications and quality standards.
• Ensures that methods and standard practices and production processes developed and approved for the implementation in the section are allowed as recommended.
• Keeps wastage of materials, labor and power of his area is within approved limits.
• Ensures that all machines and equipments, tools in the section are in good running condition.
• Plan manpower allocation, machine set-up and materials needed in the operations.
• Checks and follows up the availability of indirect and direct materials affecting the plan.
• Monitors quality trends and reworks rates to determine the causes of problems and recommends corrective actions.
• Interfaces with customer representatives, Engineering Supervisor, Quality Assurance and other support groups regarding manufacturing related problems.
• Coordinates with personnel of Production Planning and Control regarding line balancing, commitment and control priorities.
• Implements new methods that will ensure effective and smooth flow of production and perform support some process engineering task.
• Ensures that safety program of the company are properly implemented in the section.
• Maintains good housekeeping and efficient operating within the area of responsibility.
• Prepares Daliy, weekly, monthly, and other periodic reports of production activities.
• Ensure application of quality policy of the company in his/her area of responsibility.
• Ensures lot classification, traceability and storage in conformance to all conditions required by approved applicable specifications.
• Efficiently releases and receives stocks.
• Counts stocks and attach tags accurately
• Provides the accurate information on stock position
• Maintains an organized filing system
• Carry out housekeeping tasks effectively: (1) keep assigned area clean, (2) replenish stocks neatly, (3) accurate inventory of items in assigned area
• Performs other duties as assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of Diploma/ Bachelor's/College Degree Engineering courses or >3 years semiconductor / manufacturing and/ or engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in quality/ improvement systems/ ISO 9000.
• Experience dealing with assembly and Test subcontractor in the semiconductor industry is added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, people management and communication skill.
• Focused, analytical, organized, systematic, with high tolerance for stress, pleasant disposition and excellent judgment skills
• Computer literate, able to use the Internet and email.
