I’m an Accounts Executive with over five years of experience in accounting and finance, mainly in Accounts Receivable, reconciliation, and month-end support across shared services and MNC environments. I started my career in property accounting at CBRE, where I handled end-to-end AR processes, tenant billing, and reconciliations, and I learned the importance of accuracy, documentation, and working closely with finance teams.
Over time, I became known as someone who could solve complex reconciliation issues and support month-end close with clean, audit-ready schedules. One of my key achievements there was helping reduce unapplied and mismatched receipts by about 25%, which improved cash visibility and overall reporting quality.
Currently, I’m working at Mindteck, supporting a high-volume MNC portfolio. My role involves managing AR and revenue processes, reconciling sub-ledger to GL, supporting accruals and adjustments, and preparing documentation for audits and month-end closing. I also worked closely with Treasury and banks to clear high-value unapplied cash, which helped improve reconciliation accuracy to around 98%.
What makes my journey unique is that I started strongly in AR but have been steadily expanding into full-set accounting. I’ve gained hands-on exposure to journal entries, accrual workings, reconciliation schedules, and financial close support, and I’m actively building my skills further through courses in full-set accounting, Excel, and accounting systems.
At this stage of my career, my goal is to transition into a broader accounting role where I can contribute beyond AR — especially in month-end close, balance sheet management, and eventually full-set accounting. I see myself as someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to continuous learning and long-term growth in finance.
