About me

I am a Computer Science graduate majoring in Cyber Security from Multimedia University. During my time at AI MSP Sdn Bhd as a SOC Analyst and IT InfraWorks Intern, I gained hands-on experience in security operations, infrastructure troubleshooting, and incident analysis, which strengthened my foundation in cybersecurity. I have practical experience in security event monitoring, incident response, and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wazuh and Snort. I was involved in identifying anomalies, performing vulnerability assessments, and creating detection rules to enhance system security. I also worked with Proxmox to manage virtual machines (Windows and Ubuntu) and configure network environments for client and internal testing setups. My technical skill set includes Bash and Python scripting, which I have used for automation and security data processing tasks. My Final Year Project, titled “Enhanced Detection Mechanism to Detect DoS Attacks in IPv6 Networks,” focuses on applying machine learning (SVM) to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives in IPv6 traffic. As a graduate, I am eager to transition into a full-time IT role where I can apply my knowledge in threat detection, server management, and network defense to contribute to your organization’s security objectives.
