At PBAPP, our mission is to provide high-quality water supply services to the people of Penang. We oversee the operation of water treatment facilities, manage reservoirs, and maintain an extensive distribution network to meet the daily needs of our consumers.
Our water sources include the Muda River, which forms the northern boundary between Seberang Perai and Kedah, as well as local dams such as the Ayer Itam and Teluk Bahang dams on Penang Island. These resources are crucial in ensuring a reliable water supply, especially during dry periods.
In April 2025, PBAPP is undertaking scheduled water supply interruptions to facilitate essential upgrading projects aimed at enhancing service reliability. We are committed to minimizing disruptions and keeping consumers informed throughout this process.
