Behind Boost Juice Southeast Asia

After almost a decade of climbing the corporate ladder, Nick & Soraya decided to leave that world behind, and in 2009 they opened their very first Boost store at the KL Twin Towers Suria KLCC, Malaysia. Since then they have expanded all over Southeast Asia with stores in Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and Thailand!

They made a pledge to get more fruits and vegetables into every customer's day, the Boost way; which gives Nick & Soraya the opportunity to share the energy, passion and the ‘love life’ ethos with everyone!

Their courage and entrepreneurial spirit have been vindicated; since the opening of the first store in June 2009, Nick & Soraya has expanded Boost to more than 225 stores within the SE Asian region! The number of stores continues to grow with the first store in Thailand launched in 2022 and with more plans to expand in other parts of the region in the near future.

Nick Tiernan: The Practice In Loving Life

Hailing from the hustle and bustle of London town is Nick Tiernan, who joined forces with his wife, Soraya, as partners on the mission to strengthen Boost Juice’s presence in Southeast Asia. Malaysia is home for Nick for more than a decade now and he has been on a journey to unearth the potential that the region holds.

A true believer in the brand’s vision, Love Life, he celebrates this philosophy in his everyday as he spends his weekends cycling cross country through the Peninsular and dedicating his efforts to the local football community- never without a cup of Boost Juice with him.

Boost Juice’s ethos inspires a positive relationship with the self, the environment and what one’s chooses to feed the mind and body; and Nick hopes to encourage that through delicious healthy juices and smoothies while he kitesurfs, rugby and snowboards his way to more store openings lined-up for the year of 2022!

Growing Boost Juice in SE Asia

Soraya became a fan of Boost Juice and its iconic Smoothies & Juices when she lived and worked in Melbourne. “I believed the time was right to bring Boost to Malaysia. Malaysian customers are now opting for healthier, fresh alternatives and I wanted to contribute to a healthier Malaysia”.

For Soraya it was never just about building a successful brand: “I also wanted to give something back to Malaysian society (Boost Malaysia supports a number of charities), create jobs for local talents, help forge the next generation of Malaysian entrepreneurs and prove that women could make successful entrepreneurs”.

Soraya believes in empowering individuals with the opportunities to discover their own potential, and to provide the pathway to healthier living for everyone through loving life!
