Established in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Metronomik was founded by Wan Hazmer, the lead game designer of Final Fantasy XV, and Daim Dziauddin, an illustrator for Street Fighter V. Our goal is to integrate music seamlessly into video games without confining them to the rhythm genre. We believe that music is an underutilized element in game design and strive to showcase its cultural and creative significance through our projects.
Our inaugural game, No Straight Roads, launched in August 2020 for PlayStation 4 and PC. This action-adventure title invites players to lead an indie rock band in a battle against an EDM empire, emphasizing the dynamic interplay between music and gameplay. The game reflects our dedication to innovative design and storytelling, offering players a unique experience that transcends traditional genre boundaries.
At Metronomik, we are committed to fostering a positive working culture and delivering games that resonate with diverse audiences. Our team of passionate professionals continues to explore new ways to intertwine music and interactive entertainment, aiming to create memorable experiences that celebrate the universal language of music.
