Key Responsibilities / Job Scope
As a Product Sales Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
SALES & PRODUCT PROMOTION
Drive sales of electrical products such as home appliances, kitchen appliances, Audio Visual products.
Actively promote new products, offers, and bundles to customers in retail.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales target through effective product positioning and upselling.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE & DEMONSTRATION
Remain fully knowledgeable about product features, technical specifications, usage, warranty and energy efficiency standards.
Demonstrate products to customers, explaining key benefits and comparing against competing brands.
Provide recommendations based on customer needs, budget, and lifestyle requirements.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
Deliver excellent in-store service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Guide customer through product selection, from basic models to premium solutions.
Build trust and long-term relationship with walk-in customer and repeat clients.
RETAIL FLOOR MANAGEMENT
Ensure product displays, pricing labels, and promotional materials are accurate and up-to-date.
Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, product arrangement, and visual merchandising.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams for replenishment.
MAEKET & COMPETITOR AWARENESS
Stay updated on current market trends, popular models, new technology advancement and competitor pricing.
Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, product performance and sales challenges.
COLLABORATION WITH BRANDS & MANAGEMENT
Work closely with brand representatives and store management to execute promotional campaigns, roadshows, and product launches.
Attend product training sessions conducted by suppliers or manufacturers.
SALES REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION
Record daily sales activities, customer interaction, and product issues accurately.
Follow retail operating procedures, including pricing, warranty processes, and POS systems
AFTER-SALES SUPPORT
Educate customers on installation requirements, basic troubleshooting, and warranty claims.
Coordinate with service centers for repairs or product return when necessary.
